Founded in 1988 by Seattle hypnotist and hypnotherapist Jack Elias, CHT, the Institute for Therapeutic Learning offers transpersonal hypnosis and hypnotherapy/NLP training for personal growth and professional development.
Based on the internationally acclaimed book, Finding True Magic: Transpersonal Hypnosis and Hypnotherapy/NLP by Jack Elias, the Institute’s courses take a heart-centered, compassionate, and spiritual approach incorporating hypnotherapy, neurolinguistic programming, and meditation techniques rooted in 3,000-year-old traditions.

Certification-Option Courses
Our signature course, Finding True Magic, (based on the book of the same name) is for individuals seeking hypnotherapy certification and mastery of self-hypnosis.
This stimulating and challenging course emphasizes underlying insights and principles governing the nature of mind and communication – upon which hypnotherapy, NLP, shamanism, and all other transformational techniques depend.
Training Options:
Live On-Site Training
Offered at the Institute for Therapeutic Learning in Seattle with Jack Elias, held as six weekend sessions or a 17-day intensive training. See schedule.
Distance Learning
A great certification option for students who are unable to commute to Seattle, or need to set their own hours. Coursework is presented via CD/DVD and recieve personal tutorials with Jack Elias via phone. Learn more.
