Founded in 1988 by Seattle hypnotist and hypnotherapist Jack Elias, CHT, the Institute for Therapeutic Learning offers transpersonal hypnosis and hypnotherapy/NLP training for personal growth and professional development.
Based on the internationally acclaimed book, Finding True Magic: Transpersonal Hypnosis and Hypnotherapy/NLP by Jack Elias, the Institute’s courses take a heart-centered, spiritual approach incorporating hypnotherapy, neurolinguistic programming, and meditation techniques rooted in 3,000-year-old traditions.
The Finding True Magic Transpersonal Hypnotherapy/NLP training courses are stimulating and challenging. It is common for students to experience profound changes in themselves and their consciousness, including: physical healing, weight loss, smoking cessation, release from traumas, anxiety and panic attacks, compulsions and addictions, and more. The approach is holistic, spiritual, and clinically comprehensive — practical and down-to-earth. It focuses on deep spiritual cognition: principles and insights underlying a variety of transformational techniques such as hypnotherapy, NLP, and shamanism. With these understandings as a foundation, the course emphasizes achieving competency with traditional approaches, and developing the ability to generate spontaneous elegant technique from one’s own personal capacity for creative genius.
The Institute’s Transpersonal Hypnotherapy/NLP training is available through Live Onsite Training in the Greater Seattle Bellevue area as well as through Distance Learning options. Students may take courses with or without seeking certification in Clinical Hypnotherapy.
